“What’s going on with Kyle’s critical thinking skills ? In the Ryan Grim episode he says it’s fascistic for trump to be posting that he should be reinstated as president… while before during and after trump’s presidency he was branded as a Russian agent, his supporters were described as deplorable by Hillary, false reports funded by Hillary were used by national intelligence agencies, a set of private companies coordinated with the government to kick him off platforms or suppress information that would help him and now there is an effort to ensure that he can’t run again. So we have an effective fascistic effort on the one hand (Twitter and Facebook are private companies and their merging with government to execute key functions outside of democratic control is closer to fascistic than anything you can name that trump has done) vs. a set of ineffective efforts like the one you cite…I don’t get how you can fail to see this? If it’s because Biden has tossed a few concessions and you think it’s worth overlooking the issues you have always cared about then I think you’re way off … any truly effective authoritarian in an open society is going to give concessions here and there while they move to consolidate power, erode freedoms that threaten their order, etc… Biden is a more effective tool for some of that agenda and even trump was a useful tool for some objectives (Supreme Court ) … but overall he’s too much of a hassle for the real authoritarian threat we should all be focused on … corporate control of a government that is a wing of corporate agendas … nothing else.”
