Aloha & Happy Leap Year show! In this show I interview Eric Cooper of Forest Moon Grove on his organisationʻs History, Mission, and Goals. We also take time to really delve into the many incidents of discrimination set against US military troops both deployed and stateside. We touch on the Wild Hunt reported tensions at the Fort Hood Open Circle and the Open Letter by Michelle Morris regarding the many incidents of harassment theyʻre facing. If youʻre like me and unaware or uninformed...

Aloha everyone! Here's the second installment of the fun discussion with Pohaku, better known as Kathleen Borealis of Borealis Meditation. Before the second half of the discussion begins I discuss some ways to spot 'Shady Characters'. Especially important during this festival season. Not only that but great news about my upcoming attendance at Sacred Harvest Festival! Stay tuned to the Facebook Page for more info on the TWO workshops I'll be doing while at Sacred Harvest Festival. Lady...

Mahalo nui loa to those who contributed to this show and helped say goodbye to 2012. Some announcements as well, for example all music clips used will be announced in the audio and not written here anymore. Google/Bing is a beautiful thing that most would use anyway so I'm cutting down on any writing that is unnecessary. Check out the Facebook Fan Pages for more information and how much more we're going to start offering for Pagan Families! Lady Bess, Lamyka

We've got a range of guests, some wonderful women coming in for the show. We had Star Foster of Patheos.com and Dee of PaganFM. This was a unique opportunity as Dee is a self-published author that's been on the show before (The Pagan in Recover: Twelve Steps from a Pagan Perspective), Star Foster works for a small faith company (Patheos.com), and I own and operate my own small business (Haumea Botanicals). Also just a quick warning there were some strange audio issues but nothing too garbled,...

This month main hosts Lamyka, Star, and Cara were joined by Anne Hatzakis of GreekReconMommy to define and discuss Syncretism & Eclecticism with the Pagan community. Often times when these two terms have been discussed it usually denegrates to ranting against Eclecticism but I'm happy to say that this brought many fresh ideas and perspectives of the important implications. Also included in this episode is a early bird preview of a new product launching in time for Lammas/Lughnasadh on...

For June's Episode Cara, Star, and I (Lamyka) discussed the different non-fiction and fiction books that we read, are reading, and would like to read. We had a really great discussion that followed about these books and the importance of literature to us all. In the break I give a few important announcements so please be sure to tune in. Lady Bless, Lamyka

Lamyka & Star (of Patheos.com) go over 2 of the questions mentioned in March's list. We talk about Prayer books/materials and what are some beliefs that we have left behind. For those who would like to give their input just go over to our Pagan Women's Podcast Facebook FanPage and leave us a comment or question! Thank you to our sponsor Haumea Botanicals as well as a big Mahalo to Forest Moon Grove for whipping up a promo (on short notice!) about themselves. Lady Bless, Lamyka

Lamyka had a brilliant idea (or so she thought) for this month's episode. Me (Lamyka) and Star sit down to share some of the questions that we'll be discussing in the coming year for the show. After much reluctance, Star participated and it turned out to be a lot of fun. We hope you like some of the questions we bring up. If you'd like to share or have some of your own included then contact us directly or go to the Pagan Women's Facebook FanPage and post up yours! Hope everyone had a great...

This is a much more concise show, packed with all sorts of different segments. I have a new 'Olelo No'eau, a segment on Health, more music, meditation, etc. I'm actually very proud of this show and all it covers. I hope for even better shows in the future. Going monthly has been great. I hope everyone had a great Spring Equinox!! Happily and also belatedly here is the February Pagan Women's Episode! Cara, Star, and I (Lamyka) have a very fun learning episode for ourselves and for each other. The main rule of this recording was to find 2 or 3 Goddesses that we knew nothing about or never knew before and to do a bit of research then share it with everyone. Some mentioned are completely new to all of us and some are new looks into Goddesses we thought we knew. Overall it was a fun episode to record and I hope all of you...

This month Lamyka, Cara Schulz, and Star Foster sat down to talk about Hellenic Polytheism. Or I (Lamyka) should say, me and Star mostly hurlded question after question at Cara who is a Hellenic Polytheist. It was a great chance to talk about what exactly that means, down the the dailyand sometimes monthly practicalities and actions of devotees. Great fun had by all! Happy New Year everyone! In this show I talk about being steadfast in our goals and different ways we can help ourselves to do so. Whether through mundane systems and tools like the "buddy system" or the "work for reward" system, or spiritual methods like prayer, we can all remain steadfast in our goals. My special thanks are given out to my friends for helping me and motivating me through their own actions to do the January show. Lady Bless, Lamyka Music: "Alive Again" by Singleton

This December we started a new tradition of having an "open mic" night for Pagan Women's. We covered topics suggested by those who participated and contributed via email or the FB event wall. We talked about our Solstice celebrations, the year to come, and our own 'fantasy festivals'. I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year celebration and does well in 2012! Many thanks to Rev. Crystal Blanton for taking time out of her very demanding schedule to sit down with me and talk about her books, her many years of counseling, her experiences, and more. In this episode we have a great discussion about what trends seem to be occuring in the growing Pagan Community. We also talk about certain problems that seem to plague it still. All in all a wonderful lady to sit down with and have a fun and provacative conversation! Lady Bless, Lamyka Music...

Below is the re-print of the FB event. I want to seriously THANK those who participated. This affected me so much I don't even know how to vocalize how grateful I am to all of you, participants & Honorees! This is a break from the normal discussion based style of Pagan Women's. It's a series of separate recordings, the voices of Pagan women. The main gist is that each of us would say someone they are honoring who has passed, and why/how this person is important. This can be family,...

This is the second half of Laura's interview where we get into some pretty interesting discussions digging deeper into topics related to ancestor worship. Don't forget to check out her book, it's a definite must have! Also, have you gone by the page and donated? I have literally thousands of downloads but only a few contributors, why not show some love and donate today? Remeber, even $5 helps. Lady Bless, Lamyka

This is the first part to a two part series where I sit down and talk with the indomnible Laura Patsouris. Her book Weaving Memory: A Guide to Honoring the Ancestors is the main point from which we discuss all sorts of topics related to Ancestor Work, metaphysical protection, bloodlines, and so much more! I encourage everyone to either buy her book (I have a copy and I'm definitely recommending it!) and or stick around next week for the conclusion to this interview. Enjoy! Lady...

Aloha! This is a special and very important announcement. Lamyka needs your help. In the 6 years I have been a podcaster, I have worked hard to bring the Pagan Community such things as, Lamyka’s Wiccan Podcast, the Pagan Women’s Podcast, Pagan Bed Time Stories, the Proud Pagan Podcasters (the only Pagan podcasting organization in existence), as well as authored Pagan children’s books. While we have all been hit by hard economic times, I need your help to keep all that I’ve worked hard for...

Come join me and my friends at the dinner table. This is a special holiday recording; everyone pulled up a chair and sat down to have dinner--literally--with each other and just talk story. Joining me on friday was Eric & Issy (and their little baby girl) of Forest Moon Grove, Star Foster of Patheos.com, Melissa a member of Forest Moon Grove, Dave of PCP, Rianna Stone of the Pagan Homesteader, & Cara Schulz of PNC-Minnesota. We had a blast, and even more fun with the technical...

This was a fun recording to do! In this episode I make a few announcements like how Pagan Bed Time Stories has moved to it's own show. This whole month will focus on being Thankful as the Autumn Equinox, or as I like to call it, the Witch's Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the whole year! I included a new prayer segment that you can enjoy and adapt to yourselves. I also brought back a favorite of many listeners, the cooking segment! Lots of new things shaking up here at Lamyka's Wiccan...
