“Season one of this podcast is a really solid walk through one of the most important companies of our time. When I was younger, my grandfather used to tell me all about the telephone companies when we discussed the stock market. He would say: ‘they’re simultaneously about scale, growth and innovation’ (the Baby Bells! Verizon! Lucent!). Listening Land of the Giants, I can’t help but think that advice is completely attributable to Amazon today. From e-commerce, to AWS, to maximizing the various elements of their platform (data, advertising, seller services), they are about scale, growth and innovation at once. Each element could be a multi billion dollar stand alone. Jason does a great job marching us through their stack.”

“Really wanted to like this podcast. Fascinating topic but the host’s accent - Philly? Baltimore? - was too great a distraction. Voice sound is kind of important in a podcast. Too bad”
