I’m not sure if you realize that the episode the “Cost of Representation” cracked and code and directly linked the pattern of the same white supremacy we see in 2020. Thank you for revising history and showing the correct narrative

Mike is great at the big picture advice! I’m a solo attorney and sometimes don’t see the forest for the trees. His podcast is nice on the weekends to pick my head up from the daily grind and make sure my ship is heading in the right direction.

Mike manages to pack a lot into 20 minutes - fascinating historical anecdotes combined with an analysis of the role played by the law. I’ve learned a lot in every episode I’ve listened to. Can’t wait for more!

This is an all around good podcast. I appreciate that Mike goes beyond the four walls of a law office. There is so much that affects our practice and interactions with clients other than the single issue that gets that client in front of us. Mike is a superb storyteller and presents a highly insightful, authentic, and inspiring perspective on an industry in much need of such a perspective. Mike also happens to be quite funny and his humor only adds to the value of his thoughts. I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough.

This is the best storytelling in the legal field. I hope everyone gets a chance to listen.

I love this podcast. Mike Whelan somehow was able to escape the grind of being a solo law firm and provide a different take on running a law firm. His book Lawyer Forward challenged the way lawyers approach the profession and how solo and small firms are run. Mike has a strong community from his...Read full review »

Mike is incredibly intelligent. His perspective on the evolution of the legal industry is thought-provoking and much needed in an industry that has historically lagged behind others when it comes to technology utilization. He’s also pretty funny. Worth the listen!

Mike always comes prepared with the stories, the data, the history, and the research. He is able to make connections between seemingly unrelated events to draw out lessons that lawyers can apply in their practices. Love it!
