First Episode, interview of Alan Jope, CEO of Unilever.
How wonderful it all sounds as said by Unilever’s CEO. Wonderful boss, wonderful huge corporation doing good in every aspect within their circle of influence i.e. the whole world. Ha! Unilever an ethical, green, socially conscious, egalitarian, etc. company? Who does this man think is going to believe all his opportunistic hypocritical talk? The millions of workers around the world linked to Unilever’s companies in one capacity or another? I don’t think so. Of course, I don’t know the truth of this, but I am starting to wonder whether this podcast is sponsored by some of these wonderful corporations with wonderful bosses and wonderful images… I will listen to the next few episodes to see where this new potentially interesting podcast goes. However, after this, it’s first ever program, I’m not at all impressed.
