One of the very best photography-related podcasts
There are few podcasts that are useful, enjoyable and about photography. This regular Lenswork series is perfect for anyone with a longer-term interest in photography and perhaps art in general. Mr Jensen doesn't, for the most part, provide specific photographic instruction or anything remotely technical. I don’t recall his ever mentioning the brands of cameras or lenses he uses, even. Instead, there are observations and suggestions about photography (making it, appreciating it, buying and selling it) and wider thoughts art and creativity in general from a man who seems wise enough to ask the right questions and (just as important) also seems perceptive and likeable. He is, of course, a photographer and also an editor of the excellent Lenswork magazine. Jeff Curto's Camera Position, Ibarionex R Perello’s the Candid Frame (relaxed, informal interviews with established photographers) and this Lenswork series are my clear favourites among the embarrassingly high number of photography-related podcasts that I listen to regularly. Highly recommended!Read full review »

It's a treasure chest of knowledge. It inspired me to quit my 9 to 5 desk job and take up photography full time. Thank you Brooks Jenson. This is Phalgun from Bangalore, IndiaRead full review »
