“I love the Silent Hill franchise, because it has some of the best horror games ever created and despite the fact that is has some of the worst horror fames ever created. I love the story, most of the gameplay, and the world of the games. My problem is that the two hosts spend the entire first episode discussing a game that NEITHER OF THEM HAS PLAYED.
I completely agree that Silent Hill can be enjoyed without playing the game or even watching the game being played. It’s perfectly fine to just enjoy the story through descriptions or watching the cut scenes or even just hearing about it from someone.
However, I absolutely do not understand why people would create a podcast about a series of games without actually playing them. I don’t know if they played Silent Hill 2 and on because I stopped halfway through the first episode. All I know is neither one played or even watched a full play through of the original Silent Hill.
Also, one host keeps walking away during the podcast recording and there are some animals noises throughout, maybe a cat? Not very good quality.
I’m very sorry to have to do this, but if I could give this podcast zero stars, I would.”
