Listen now
Description
*Trigger Warning - discussions of depression & anxiety, eating disorders and fertility issues* This week we spoke to Dr Amina Hersi (@thepcosdr) about her experience as both a patient and a GP dealing with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. We spoke about the day-to-day reality of the condition, as well as the physical and mental toll this can take. Talking to Amina was refreshingly honest, and her insight as a medical professional helped us understand a lot more about PCOS and the discourse surrounding it. September is PCOS awareness month, so if you would like to find out more about the condition, please take a look at Amina's Instagram page (@thepcosdr)!
