Description
Michael Sutton was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 1996 for his role as Stone on “General Hospital.” Sutton’s portrayal of Stone was part of a groundbreaking storyline in the 1990’s about he and his girlfriend Robin (played by Kimberly McCollough), both stricken with HIV. This was one of the first times TV explored this topic and the first time a TV series explored the disease with a heterosexual couple. Stone eventually died, but Robin moved on and has lived a full life ever since, becoming a doctor, wife and mother. The current storyline involves Robin struggling with news that her husband Patrick cheated on her. She hallucinates and sees her first love, Stone, for the first time since his death. For over 15 years Michael Sutton has promoted the hottest clubs, thrown the best weekly parties, special events, private membership communities and opened some of Los Angeles’ most talked about restaurants, including Xenii, Goa, and The Lodge Steakhouse. Sutton is also the owner of the new LA lounge Guys and Dolls in West Hollywood.
