Description
I was recently cleaning out my office here in Amsterdam, and I stumbled upon my old journals from 7 years ago -  the time I graduated Yale University, quit taking Adderall medication to perform, and moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina which became the beginning of my healing journey. While you might not have gone for medication to perform, I feel this story is important for so many of us who are co-dependent on outside validation (like endlessly scrolling, or numbing through binging Netflix or constant inner critical chatter…)  instead of cultivating inner silence, wisdom, strength and power. In this episode, I share: My early years + feeling the pressure to perform How, even after I achieved success on the outside, I felt empty on the inside My healing journey and taking self-accountability And how ultimately… the only person you can compare yourself to is… YOU! Comparing your success to others is simply a fools game. And, how this is one of my biggest keys to success these days.
