Good talks but Needs Better Sound Quality
I just listened to my first episode of this podcast about Reiwa. I like the topic and the Japanese they use is easy to understand and the hosts do a good job at using minimal English to give us mostly Japanese listening practice. BUT I had I stop half way through the episode because the sound of their laughter was too loud and piercing. This actually hurt my ears (which is why I stopped). I would have turned it down, but the hosts voices are soft and quiet, so in order for me to clearly hear what they were saying I had to turn it up to the max. Maybe that is because I had on earbuds, and maybe it would have been better at home with an external speaker, but still. And it wouldn't be a problem if they didn't laugh often, but they seemed to laugh almost every other sentence. I want to listen and I think it is good for Japanese listening practice, but I can't really listen to it because of the sound quality. I hope they invest in professional microphones and do some audio editing. Although I know the topics are good, I can't give anything more than a three at the moment because of the audio quality.Read full review »

This podcast is incredible! Their Japanese is at a good speed and they have natural conversations which are great for listening practice. They also include many of the specific vocabulary used throughout the episode to study! Highly recommend. オーストラリアから、ありがとうがざいます!このポッドキャストからもっと日本語の勉強のモチベーションが上がる!
