“This is certainly one of the best podcasts available on the topic of cults, and is absolutely worth a listen for anyone interested in the topic! Sarah Steele is thorough, factual, and compassionate in her presentation of difficult topics, and lacks the highly sensationalized and speculative garbage that so often litters the narrative of media surrounding cults. There is very little emphasis on scare-tactic style psychological analyses of the wrongdoers, and instead a much deserved focus is placed on the realities of the lives and psychology of the victims. Additionally, though of course classic cults with familiar names from the history books are covered, there’s also much more information offered about cults that you might not have heard about, often with a refreshingly international perspective. If you want to learn more about cults and want the real, true facts, then this is the place to go!”
