Let's Talk Infertility
Listen now
Description
Did you know that April 23 - 29 is Infertility Awareness Week? Infertility affects people living with endo, adeno or PCOS at a higher rate than those without. In today's episode I discuss what infertility is, and how endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS impact on fertility, based on current research around what is known. I also step through the process that your doctor or specialist may take you on if you have been trying to conceive for over 12 months. Research mentioned: Cunha, A. & Povoa, A.M. (2021). Infertility management in women with polycystic ovary syndrome: a review. Porto Biomedical Journal, 6(1), 1-8. https://doi.org/10.1097%2Fj.pbj.0000000000000116  Szubert, M. et al. (2021).
