Hey you! Hope you're ready for a brand new ep of LTP! Today's episode is with Dr Cecilia Kitic. Cecilia holds a PhD in exercise physiology and immunonutrition. Dr Kitic has published over 80 research papers exploring inflammation and oxidative stress, nutrition, immunology, the endocrine system and the gut. Cecilia has a background as an academic, lecturer and researcher, and she applies this expertise in clinical practice with her multidisciplinary team at The IVF Project to enhance reproductive health and fertility. Dr Kitic is also the Director of Fertile Gut, delivering science backed formulations to optimise the gut microbiome. In combination with clinical practice, Cecilia has presented at numerous National and International conferences, and is co-author of the book Create a Fertile Gut, A Science Backed Approach to Nurture Your Microbiome for Optimal Fertility, IVF and Pregnancy Success. Having struggled with infertility and severe endometriosis, Cecilia is passionate about supporting others to enhance their health + wellbeing.
