21 Years With Tinnitus - Yes, You Can Live A Normal Life!

Description
I knew my tinnitus wasn’t normal in my early teens, but it wasn’t until university when the ringing took control. It was last year when studying, working and just living, felt like more effort than it should be. Since then, it’s all changed. No, I havent found a ✨magical cure✨ to stop my tinnitus, and the volume and pitch has not changed. I still have my louder days, but these days no longer control me. My negative outlook has been transformed into a more positive one. I no longer care for my tinnitus and I am living a happier life. It didn’t happen overnight and it took a lot of practise and time. I equipped myself with the tools I needed to manage my emotions related to my tinnitus, and here’s how - ➡️ I focused on cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, listened to white noise, began breathing exercises and mindful thinking. ➡️ I read books about self love and began to nourish my body. ➡️ After focusing on my mental and physical health, I began to educate myself more about tinnitus, what it is, why we can have it and what’s normal. I often thought because I don’t have a clear cause that it wasn’t normal, but no. The way you’re feeling, the confusion you have, the unclear view…is all normal. Get peace of mind by finding the cause if there is one, sort that problem, then begin living your life again. You’re already on the right track by being here. You will get there.
