I love this podcast. Lucy was such a pioneer for all things! I love being to reconnect with Lucy with a different avenue other than tv. She always puts a smile on my face!

She basically invented the interview podcast. Conan and Fly on the Wall are wonderful but I had no idea that Lucy was the first.

I agree with recent reviewers in that it is time to end this podcast. Ms. Lucy’s original, live conversations are wonderfully produced, entertaining and insightful. These “pretend” conversations are terrible. I unsubscribed due to those productions. This podcast had a great run. You producers did...Read full review »

I loved all the original interviews Lucy did. The change to Lucy supposedly interviewing modern day stars is not as enjoyable.

Love the interviews from the early 60s but I’ve had enough of the “reimagined” interviews of today’s stars. It was cute for a bit but please bring back the actual original interviews!

I usually give 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But, Rosie is insufferable!

What has happened to this show? It’s so bad. I assured the old recordings and conversations. The new shows are terrible. Whoever thought it was a good idea to edit new interviews with scientists starts is probably the same person who controls Lucy’s image and won’t allow us to enjoy her reruns on...Read full review »

LOVE LUCY & LOVE all the originals, but the new pretend ones, not as enjoyable. Listened to one or two, not worth it. I agree w another listener- let Carol Burnette start interviewing! :)

Loved the original interviews. fascinating! But the recent “pretend” interviews are disturbing .

If they have run out of Lucy interviews then for me, the show is over.

I absolutely love Lucy, but these reimagined interviews are not really worth my time to listen to. Please bring back the actual interviews Lucy had with the stars of yesteryear. Those were excellent and the interactions between the stars and Lucy was fabulous.

The show was great but now it is some strange thing where Lucy is talking to modern celebrities from the grave. This doesn’t work and it’s time to end the show.

I would never give anything with Lucy in it anything but 5 stars, but at episode 67 the show just got really weird, although I did enjoy hearing from Carol Burnett. It seems Lucy’s real interviews have sadly ended, and now we’re left with depressing “deep-fake” interviews. Someone please talk...Read full review »

So wonderful to hear the stars I watched growing up who many have now passed. I enjoy hearing about their time frame with “new” movies coming out that are now classics. Thank you for putting these radio recordings into this podcast.

I absolutely love listening to this! It’s crystal clear and Lucy’s elocution is beautiful. Hollywood when there was actual talent and class. The spelling for today’s episode is misspelled. It should be George Cukor.

Thanks for sharing this, always great to hear Lucy and getting to know her personal side better. I have to say that the 1960s are not coming off so well. The outmoded attitudes toward marriage and child rearing can be really cringe-worthy at times!

I love Lucy’s smart side and the fascinating people she interviews. And for many, it is a welcome walk down memory lane as I enjoyed the performers so much when I used to watch them in the “olden” days.

As an African-American woman, I grew up with I love Lucy the reruns! I have always found her fascinating and I have never known her to be one side of the other but middle of the road type of person! Also, she makes me laugh even to this day and I enjoy these podcasts on my commute in the ATL...Read full review »

So glad these were saved for us to enjoy decades later! Just listened to the Jane Powell episode which is probably one of the more hilariously dated ones—especially how she talks about her children not being geniuses and her daughter being lamentably overweight. A true gem!

Listening to the point of view of people in the 60s is extremely fascinating. A podcaster recommended this podcast on his channel and I’m so glad he did! This did not disappoint one bit.
