Excellent content. The sound quality can be dreadful - listening with AirPods had the interviewer in one ear and the person being interviewed in the other. Made the episode impossible to listen to. Please get the recording balance right.

In other words, I absolutely loved it. People’s strength and struggles are inspiring, and so eye opening - a reminder that we are all dealing with something and we need to go through life with compassion. I wish I’d had this during my own injury experience, it might have helped me to push through...Read full review »

These episodes are captivating and compelling. Though some parts are difficult to hear, I’m grateful for the real-life stories that hold my attention. Thanks to the skillful host and courageous guests willing to share their stories.

This is despicable. She tries to minimise the effects of ecstasy and said it was the tiredness that caused the crash. She also lied to police about the amount she took. Toxicology showed just how much she actually took during the day leading up to the crash after blood tests. Please read the news...Read full review »

I feel that the latest series with Dr Sian Williams is even more moving than before. I didn’t think that was possible. The inner strength and determination of people reliving their life changing moments is simply astonishing.

Keiran- what an inspiring story. His terrifying and traumatic experience and then hearing his journey from the trauma, then his physical recovery to then hitting rock bottom, despite his positive attitude. He is making such a positive contribution to society through his understanding of how the...Read full review »

The last story ‘ripple effect’. I think the subject may have recently finished a short fiction writing course. In years gone by you would have seen this in Readers Digest. Reckon she might be angling for tv interest.

It is good to hear someone who has proper empathy and skill at interviewing people who have been through such complex emotional journals. I often felt uncomfortable with Jane Garvey’s approach, nothing awful, just not someone who i felt genuinely connected with the experiences of the person or...Read full review »

This is one of those podcasts you can’t binge, but have to listen to each episode spaced out so you can have room to feel all the feelings each episode gives you. Every episode is at turns sweet and heartbreaking and wonderful. Love this podcast.

Wow - I have loved listening to these stories - so interesting. Jane is just dreadful- surely you can get a better interviewer? She presses guests on points that they clearly don’t want to talk about. Would be five out of five with a better interviewer.
