“When I think NPR, I believe that I will be provided the facts. Maybe get advice from experts, this podcast doesn’t feel like that. There are no references sited for further research. This genuinely feels like they are bringing on guests that paid to be there or talking about subject matter for the same reason. A recent episode regarding consuming over-processed foods has no science on why the foods could be potentially be bad for, what over-processed even means, and references a small study that does not have clear findings. This episode was barely long enough to cover an intro to the topic and perpetuates a narrative that it’s easy to obtain fresh fruits and vegetables without acknowledging the income disparity and cost barrier to fresh food that so many are facing. Do better.”
