“I stopped listening to this podcast 6 months ago after your failure to acknowledge the situation in Gaza. Before that I had listened to every single episode since it began.
Just came back to listen to the episode about Clementine Ford and the controversy around the free event. Nice try on claiming it wasn’t a gotcha moment as payback for Clementine’s calling out of Matt (which fyi I was on Matt’s side regarding that). Including lots of compliments towards Clementine and letting Keshia say the more controversial things, doesn’t disguise it for exactly what it was - a cringe attempt to get in on the pile on, and most definitely a gotcha moment for Laura to settle a score, while also pretending to take the high ground.
Keisha, if you actually were a follower of Clementine you would know she has afforded people so much grace over the years, and in she often apologises if she gets called out for something or misses the mark.
Who knows why Clementine agreed to be a part of that prank, maybe she really did misjudge the situation and owes her fans an apology. I am definitely affording her that grace if that is the case. Over the past 6 months she has worked tirelessly and devoted almost her entire life to bring attention to and try to stop the current massacre of women and children in Gaza, something the Life Uncut team has been disgracefully silent about.
If you actually do appreciate her work and everything she has done for female empowerment and feminism as a whole, then it was totally unnecessary for you two to weigh in on this topic at all. Especially considering Laura’s history with her.
