“Long term listener here. But I don’t know guys about todays episode The media hadn’t published the name of the 9 month old baby. At least I hadn’t seen it anywhere. I didn’t think it was right to mention details unless the family had cleared it. As they specifically told the media to take down photos of Ash. They didn’t mention the baby’s name either. Maybe you could have mentioned that the family had cleared for you to speak candidly about all of that.
I also think there was a bias towards Ash and the baby. Which is fair because Laura has young kids. But the people with religious beliefs also have their own bias and beliefs. I felt that Life Uncut leaned towards the mum and child but disregarded people’s views that it was due to religion which was equally valid. There’s plenty of hate in the world due to religious differences. Anyways. I think you could do better on this episode and I felt I needed to say something (which I rarely do if it’s negative).”
