Where is this story going?
I tried to like this, I really did. I ignored huge plot holes (time jump from when she was little to 18? Strange haunted darkroom that was never explained?). I kept listening to the next episode like, finally I will get some answers. But no. The lead is able to escape to college but then her boyfriend cheats on her and she immediately quits and goes back to the house that she had a terrible childhood in?? Ok, so maybe she was going to go back and kick ass? Sadly, no. There was a completely gratuitous scene where her dad beats the crap out of her. It was completely unnecessary and was just too much. And I’m a true crime girl so I’m not squeamish. Bad writing and bad plot lines. Much better stuff out there than this crap.

More reviews of Light House
The plot is fairly interesting, but the writing is just so, so bad. It sounds like fan fiction or something written by a high schooler: misuse of words and grammar, overly melodramatic descriptions, lackluster character development. I made it through 4 episodes and couldn’t take any more.
