Moderate decline
Why is the host on a first name basis with the accused? The honky tonk information guy from Sumter is a classic southern trope/stereotype. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with that (there isn’t), just an observation. The problem is his embrace of “faith” in his official role as a public servant. The host’s endorsement of that position is not a good look for the show. Overall (and in addition to the initial points), this show seems to have slid in quality since its early days. I am specifically focusing on the thoroughness of research and the ability to tell a compelling story. Maybe the case has reached a less interesting point in its chronology. In any case, there is a noticeable decline, IMO.

Great work compiling the stories of all these poor young women. The interviews are fascinating and provide insight. Can’t wait to hear the rest!

LISK podcast gives such in depth insight into each person connected to these horrific crimes. I learn something in each episode and look forward to new episodes each week and I’m already looking forward to season 2! Naptime Nancy True Crime Podcast
