This is a very informative podcast made with utmost care in regards to the victims. I highly recommend to any true crime fan.

The narrator sounds like he’s trying to be sensational. Didn’t like how he read and told the story.

Why is the host on a first name basis with the accused? The honky tonk information guy from Sumter is a classic southern trope/stereotype. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with that (there isn’t), just an observation. The problem is his embrace of “faith” in his official role as a...Read full review »

Excellent in depth analysis of the Long Island Serial Killings and memorising these beautiful girls as real human beings, rather than just as Escorts. These ladies were so much more. They are missed & loved by Families , Mams and loved by their families and friends, & the world. The...Read full review »

I was addicted to this story and listen to every single show. Every time I would get into the car. Now I can’t find another podcast that I like as much as this one.

I I like your podcast and wound give 5 Stars but the re-releases are so tacky/lazy. I am stopping automatic downloads because of it and I might unfollow the show completely if the re-releases continue much longer. Podcast listeners start from the beginning and binge the whole show and will...Read full review »

I did think this had the makings of a good podcast but my concerns arose within listening to the first 2 mins of S3 after the male presented brazenly referred to RH as a “serial killer” only to be corrected as “alleged” by his female colleague. Let the defendant have his day in court first...Read full review »

The fact that the host and guest can’t see the hypocrisy of them being upset that someone else affected by this story would make money, WHILE making money from this story is insane to me. Also, the family of LISK are also his victims. Finally, insinuating that the wife may be a murderer or active...Read full review »

Just stumbled on, started season 1 and went right into season 2. Season 2 seems like a lot of repeated info from season 1. Season was interesting, short. Since it’s an ongoing case it’s fine. I’d like more info on the corruption maybe dealing with the stalling of the case? I mean I liked season...Read full review »

This podcast is truly committed to humanizing and deeply personalizing the women killed and found at Gilgo Beach. I intend to listen a second time to really know these women.

I’m interested in learning the details but I wish you and your guests would stop calling him by his first name, like he’s a friend, a human being, when he’s just evil.

Great interview! He really is the person who could see how to get this investigation moving and get his task force in place with the right people.

Excellent journalism. After re-listening to Serial years later, I was severely disappointed in how sensationalist and irresponsible it was towards the victim (not what I thought years ago), but this podcast knocks it out of the park. Informative, thorough and most importantly responsible...Read full review »

Love this podcast!!! Just binged it over the last few weeks- knew very little about LISK beforehand but heard the name mentioned often and wanted to know more. I am a native of Suffolk County LI, Lake Ronkonkoma, with friends who live in Babylon Township and Massapequa. .. LISK is close to home. It continues to be a terrifying story of the overlooked women in society who succumb at the hands of monsters. One of those monsters is caught! But others...Read full review »

Season 1 had potential, but just too much of your opinion. Tried Season 2, but it does not work for that same reason. One episode in and I am sick of your voices already🙄. I say weirdly because it is a podcast about a morbid subject, but it is enjoyable. Incredibly fascinating, they do a great job covering every aspect of this case. I often had to check if I was re-listening to an episode because they replay previous excerpts as though they’re catering to a new listener mid-way through the season. Additionally, the bonus interviews were a little cringey to listen to. When you wade through the fluff there’s some good stuff...Read full review »

I started listening to all episodes from season 1 trailer all the way through to the (so far), last Lisk podcast of season 3. I started this podcast after watching The Killing Season and really liked season 1. It ended off on a cliffhanger though. The mini episodes were fine although 4+ minutes of ads for 10 or less minutes of content was way too much. The second set of Q and A episodes just seemed to be a way to make...Read full review »

Some of the worst journalistic reporting I’ve ever listened to. Any time something of interest comes up? They gloss over it or say oh that’s too horrible to repeat I don’t wanna talk about that. Just talked about the facts of the case! This podcast was incredibly frustrating to listen to.

I listened non stop ! I especially liked the honesty of those who were interviewed regarding the corruption and ineptness of the police department at that time. I learned a lot. Glad he was captured.

Great research and insight, a note to improve- Some of the areas are poorly edited, jumps back and forward over the same audio. Case in point-Blocked investigation part 2. The audio repeats twice between min 17 and 22. Happens often in other episodes
kimjdr via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/15/23
Lower rating because there’s a few eps of season 3 with audio editing errors, clips repeat the same section twice in the same ep, making the conversation jump around, making the most recent season sound sloppy.
Hamo811 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/15/23
Great podcast but it’s been very buggy when played on both Apple podcast & Spotify premium; the podcast jumps back and replays sections and/or entire episodes won’t play. Phone is up to date and it’s happening on two separate platforms and sadly this is the only podcast it’s happening with.

This podcast lost me at the point the host podcaster and the journalist do a q&a where both admit they suspect a group of rich men are behind the LISK. That is so outlandishly conspiracy theory that it’s total absurd. Then the three part interview with the attorney where the host asks him to...Read full review »

I’m new to the podcast with no knowledge of LISK. This was done very well and easy to follow. Bonus, I started listening a few weeks ago so it was very satisfying that I didn’t have to wait years before the 3rd season!

Either listen to episode 1 or 2… but not both as it’s the same information and soundbites replayed in S2. I failed to get anything new from S2.

Decent review of facts from current investigation. On a side note, the South Shore isn’t at all “weird” in fact some of the richest and most beautiful towns are located on the South Shore. I believe the host should stop referring to the LISK suspect as “Rex.” It makes the suspect sound like a buddy of the host. I would suggest using just the last name, or the full name. It would sound more professional.

I was looking for a podcast to bring all of the details of this case together, and season 1 did just that. But season 2 is a lot of rehashing of season 1. Whole episodes are devoted to repeating exact details of whole episodes from season 1. Hoping season 3 is better….
