Every episode of LA is worth listening to. There’s always some really interesting insight to take away. Always something to change how you think about the world. Can’t recommend it enough.

This pod is a wonderful case study in group think and the narrowing collective mind of the liberal Left. This pod starts from the presumption that the politics of its listenership are woefully underrepresented and increasingly under siege. Empirically, the exact opposite is in fact the case, but...Read full review »

Neil Denny simply has palpably zero ego. he invites really good guests and asks them sharp and incisive questions. it has run for a really long time now - more than 10 years and it remains in my top 3 pods.

Books, music, and science I would never know about otherwise. Well interviewed, but some of the audio is very bad -- even the alleged studio pieces. If you can get past that, they're worth the time.Read full review »

God only knows (and He’s dead) why Neil thought the repetitive intro music needed to run on for sometimes minutes at a time. But Neil just does what Neil does and that is part of his quirky charm. A very interesting podcast.

Some great guests and fascinating topics make this almost listenable, however the fact that it's seemingly recorded in someone's tiled bathroom with the participants at different distances from a cheap laptop's built-in mic makes it unbearable. I can't understand why anyone would...Read full review »

This is a fantastic podcast but is let down massively by its poor audio quality. The interviews often sound as though they’ve been recorded in a potholing cave and one has to strain to hear what’s being said. It seems a terrible shame that such great interviews are let down for the want of...Read full review »

This show has gone so far down hill. No longer interesting.
KevinICdesigner via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/16/14
It'd be better if the host weren't sitting 10 feet away from the microphone. Also, it would be nice if the episode guide gave a hint of what the subject is, rather than being an exhaustive biography of the guest.Read full review »

This is a fantastic podcast. It is truly enlightening. Every show invites a different guest to discuss and shed light on a different interesting topic in the most fascinating manner. Each episodes of little atom is really inspiring and entertaining. I agree with one of the reviewer - sometimes voice quality could be poor. That is only a small criticism.

Every podcast of Little Atoms is worth a listen. The hosts are engaging and clever, and bring out the enthusiasm of their guests for the subject matter by putting them at ease and allowing them to speak at length about the topic. This podcast has introduced me to people and ideas that I didn`t...Read full review »

If you ever felt inclined to a more sceptical worldview, little atoms is your place to go. There is only one problem: after most episodes, I find another book on my pile of must reads. And as they are a weekly podcast it is difficult to keep up. Go and subscribe, you will not regret it.

In general, love it. Good range of guests, knowledgeable, non-confrontational interviews, which make a refreshing change. The only things that slightly wreck the picture are - the recording quality is very uneven, with huge difference in volume between the various participants. Some are at...Read full review »

I love the topics and the show is really fun in general, but I had to remove a star for the abysmal quality of the audio. Do they know what a (software and/or hardware) compressor/limiter is? I ve been listening for a year now and it's a great podcast. Can be sporadic at times - the subject matter, but overall still a favorite. Neil gets the best out of the guests.
