38. Building Self-trust | Learning to lean on your own ability and inner knowing
Listen now
Description
Do you ever doubt that you can make the right decisions for yourself? Sis, I used to. In the earliest days of my relationship with my husband I leaned on him a lot to make most of the decisions, even more, to help me with my own. I didn't trust that I was capable of making the right decisions for myself neither did I believe that I was capable of fulfilling the promises I made to myself Over the past years I've allowed myself to make those decisions even if they don't turn out the way I had desired but to also keep record when they do. This helped gain confidence in myself and trust that I can make my own decisions, and that a poor outcome didn't mean I was bad at making my own decisions. Self-trust is not saying you know all the answers, nor is it believing that you will always get it right. It’s knowing that despite the outcome you got you, you got your support and respect still. What's good is that we can begin to trust ourselves again. On today's episode I share about self-trust - what breaks self-trust and how to nurture it. I hope you do enjoy this episode.
