BPD madness
So, I am a spouse of someone with BPD. Something you said caught my ear. “I hope I can find a man that will make me happy...”. As a man dealing with the irrational and dramatic BPD mate, I find nothing I do makes them happy. The negative always gets brought to the forefront. This disordered is difficult for most men to handle since most men are logical problem solvers and most with BPD tend to obsess over the emotional aspects of feelings. At times I feel like I can’t do anything right, when technically it’s a perspective from both sides. I have my moments I want to run because the drama is overwhelming. However, From the outside looking in everyone wishes they had someone that did so much but the BPD person doesn’t see that and always plays the victim. After all that dribble, I meant to say find happiness in the simplicity of life since the more you add to life only creates more question and insecurities.
