Colorado Avalanche Captain Gabriel Landeskog and GM Chris MacFarland met the media Thursday morning to discuss a number of things involving the team, with getting the biggest concern out of the way right off the bat. Gabe Landeskog is not retiring. His plan is to play next year. Exactly when still remains a mystery however. What also is a mystery is what the Avalanche will do with Val Nichushkin. Right now there doesn't seem like there is much they can do, with MacFarland going as far as to say it is "plausible" that he returns to the team when his suspension is over.
