Every year recruiting ranks cause a lot of animosity between college football fans across the country. If a player commits to your school they're underrated and should be ranked higher. If a player commits to a rival school, they're not that good. Or atleast that's what I see on Twitter. We received our latest conversation piece this week when John Garcia Jr. of Sports Illustrated released the SI 99. The SI99 is a collection of the best prospects and the prospects with the most potential in the entire country. For Texas, this list included Arch Manning, Malik Muhammad, Cedric Baxter, Johntay Cook, Ryan Niblett, and Derion Gullette and possibly Jordan Matthews. Whew. John joins the show to discuss these players rankings in the SI 99 and why he chose to place them accordingly.
