Survive and advance is the theme of this time of year and the Longhorns found a way to beat Colorado State last night in what was an ugly game for both parties. Max Abmas and Dylan Disu only scored 24 points on 33 shots, but the others stepped in and held their own, as well as the Texas defense holding the Rams to 29 percent shooting from the field and forcing 19 Colorado State turnovers. Up next, Rick Barnes and the Tennessee Volunteers is the matchup in the 2nd round, where Rodney Terry will look to survive and advance against his longtime mentor #HookEm
