“This is my first Itunes review, but with the joy that Nick and Isaac brings to the listeners of their podcast, I felt it was my duty and privilege to post this recommendation, to make sure that others could enjoy this podcast too.
First first, the Locked on Mavericks and their entire Locked on network is kickass. For those that love all things NBA, the Locked on network is can't miss sports podcasting. You get a different point of view from each "Locked on" network podcast, where fans of those teams get to praise and criticize their favorite teams. Sometimes it's objective opinion, other times it's subjective, but it's honest and from folks that know that particular team the best(be it Mavericks or Raptors).
I'm subscribed to the "Locked on" network for each of the NBA teams and regularly download and listen to most of them. They provide different insight and information on each team. Subscribe and download all the "Locked on" network podcasts, like Locked on Mavericks and Locked on Raptors.
Now, about the two primary hosts, Nick and Isaac. These guys are the best. I'm not kidding. Take it from me, a guy who listens to a wide range of sports podcasting, be it in the Locked on network or non-Locked on network sports podcasting. Nick and Isaac have a great rapport. Their podcasting is professional and light-hearted. They're genuine and don't sugarcoat things. They tell it how it is, and in a fun and enjoyable way. I like how Nick starts of the show introducing both him and Isaac, and then gives Isaac the opportunity to voice what's on his mind at the moment.
Some of the past podcast that standout is the time Isaac did a solo podcast with a friend who was a big John Legend fun. It was a lot of fun. The Ricky and Rhonda raccoon episode intro was a blast. Both Nick and Isaac have great radio voices and it's always a joy to listen to. I like that both Nick and Isaac toss in bits of their personal lives (including their wives and puppies/dogs). It humanizes them and makes them relatable.
In short, if I were to be stranded on an island and had to pick one podcast to have, hands down, Locked on Mavericks would be it.
