“This is a decent podcast. I love the content being basically all Pittsburgh, which the reason I listen. There are a few little things that would bring the rating up though.
1) Domingue is not pronounce "Dominique"--during the preview episode and preseason episodes, this was like nails on a chalkboard.
2) the host, while certainly passionate, isn't always the most knowledgeable. He frequently misquotes stats and/or events. This coupled with the tendency to get sidetracked from the current point make for some odd moments. The phrase "I think" is fine. "I'm pretty sure" makes it sound very haphazard.
3) this may be nitpicking, but when the host brings up how long he has been a fan, then goes on to tell us he is in his mid 20s, it somehow cheapens the opinion or expertise of the host. I'm not saying he can't or shouldn't host, but he needs to couch his "lifer" status for a bit in my eyes.
Overall a good podcast that is centered on the favorite team of this listener. I love that it's even available, I just wish that at times it sounded a little less Wayne's world and a little more sportsnet.”Read full review »
