Glorified Radio Segment
I listen to sports podcasts to avoid the hot takes of local radio and to deep dive into the sports and teams that I love, providing an in-depth analysis for the listener. I did not listen to this podcast when Travis Rodgers hosted, who had great reviews, but I started listening when Trent Rush became the host and I have learned nothing new about my Rams by listening to Rush. He provides zero analysis and prefers giving bold statements/pronouncements and hot takes rather than providing key information about the team that I can easily learn on the Turf Show Times podcast. I can't be too harsh on Rush because his day job is to host on local radio (which he brings up all the time), but he is providing nothing that makes me a smarter Rams fan. Let radio be radio & let podcasts be podcasts. With Rush at the helm, Locked On Rams is nothing but a glorified radio segment.Read full review »
