Lucas Raymond's hat-trick keeps Detroit Red Wings playoff hopes alive
Listen now
Description
The top line went absolutley nuts in this hockey game. DeBrincat and Larkin had 3 point nights, but none were as impactful as Lucas Raymond who scored his 2nd career hattrick enroute to a 4-point night. Their combined performances forced a huge 3rd period comeback and allowed Detroit to steal a point from the Penguins to keep the Red Wings playoff hopes alive with 3 games remaining. Unfortunatley, Not much else about this game was great. No depth support, defensive errors, a flaccid powerplay and poor goaltending ultimatley led to Pittsburgh getting two points, and controlling their destiny.
