“As an avid NFL fan and a brand new Texans fan (after defecting from the mess that is the Chargers franchise), this podcast helped me get to know and fall in love with my new team. It has a great balance of info, reasonable opinions, and relevant interviews.
However, I haven't enjoyed it as much since the new co-host, Brian, joined. I do like the conversational tone now, Brian's optimism balancing out Robert, and the new PFF weekly segment. But there are a couple times each episode now where I cringe when Brian misspeaks either citing info incorrectly or rambling through a bland opinion with cliches/platitudes. I know he is the editor at House of Houston, and there is great content there. But as a listener of a variety of different podcasts, it's not smooth or easy listening with Brian. This could be a byproduct of Rob and Brian still building chemistry as co-hosts, but I'm sensing that Rob is a radio/podcast guy while Brian is more a print guy. This won't stop me from listening to the podcast because I get a lot out of it, but I do feel like it's lost some listening quality.
I wanted to write this review as more of feedback for the hosts, hence why I concentrated on hopefully constructive criticism. But to Texans fans out there, I would say give the show a try!”Read full review »

“Had to turn off because the obsession with race was making me uncomfortable. Very little actual football discussion, and far too many ads for listening to this to be worth it for the trace amount of it that there is.”

“First, as a general praise, the Locked On network is the best thing in sports podcasting. It is daily, knowledgeable sports talk sans the obnoxious personalities, five minute commercial blocks, and discussions of things you don’t care about.
