Science broken down into understandable, digestible bits. Really well done!

I found it really interesting to learn about the history of vaccines including the covid vaccine. Skip episode 8 unless you enjoy listening tp selfish, irresponsible people decide to kill their puppy instead of quarantining the dog for 2 months. The episode tried to make the woman to be so...Read full review »

It was a great pod until the puke worms episode. It wasn’t pertinent to the story and seemed to have been used for shock value. It was completely unnecessary. I’m sorry that this owner wasn’t properly prepared for a puppy. Maybe it would have been a good idea to research puppy owning (especially...Read full review »

Everything you hear about covid is so negative it’s hard not to become consumed. This podcast takes a different approach. They feature many doctors, scientists and regular people who are proud and happy to have been able to make a difference. The podcast does a great job of providing clear...Read full review »

I’m loving the deep dive into the history of vaccination. I like the way the podcast goes way way way back. It is meticulously researched. My only complaint is episode 8, which was weird and unrelated to vaccines.

Easy listen, and informative. However, as others have said, skip Puke Worms. They try and give you a content warning and basically anticipate that you’ll be mad about the outcome, and you will be, but it’s also annoying that it’s just not as relevant as everything they cover leading up to this....Read full review »

I love the way Shaun has pulled together this story, from the beginning of inoculations and vaccinations, to the Covid vaccines we have today. Complex concepts are deconstructed and presented in a way that anyone can understand and the story is neatly woven throughout all episodes.

Good podcast. Skip the episode puke worms.

The puke worms episode was a terrible filler episode. Absolutely zero to do with Covid or vaccines. Disappointed. Try an investigative series on puppy Mills and breeding to educate and inform people.

This podcast was absolutely wonderful up until episode 8, Puke Worms. It was not relevant to the topic and did not feel connected to the purpose of the podcast. I wish it would have stuck to the history and science of disease.

Episode 8 is truly one of the most disturbing things I have ever listened to, and it’s relevance to the vaccine is tangential at best

The first few episodes were educational and helpful understanding they vaccine. However The last few episodes were useless. And the puke worms episode I guess was to show us what we have lost in the pandemic…. However many of us have lost loved ones, missed out on graduations, what life should...Read full review »

This has been a fantastic podcast about the vaccine development.I don’t want to come off as harsh in my criticism however the episode about puke worm was not related to the vaccine or only indirectly so. I really listen to this only for the science of the vaccine not just to hear another sad...Read full review »

I have found each episode to be very interesting and have also found that the content includes many bits of information that I’ve heard nowhere else. I’ve learned quite a bit. Excellent podcast.

Wow, what a fascinating trip down the history of vaccination. And quite the development of mRNA and the Covid jab. Loved it

Popular science at its very, very best. A real triumph! Great pacing, superb interviews, excellent sound quality and above all an excellent narrative that explains complex ideas in a clear, intelligible way without dumbing down. Interesting, but tragic, that only negative ratings are from...Read full review »

I have never left a review before but felt the need to do it for this incredible show. I don’t think there is a podcast out there that is more important and relevant as Long Shot. Thank you to the host and the LS team for bringing this information forward. I am in awe of the work that researchers...Read full review »

Factual and straight forward with no bias. I would like to request they fix Episode number 2 to state it’s episode number 2.

Great Pod! Non-aggressive, strictly informative. Really enjoying the info!

It’s great to have a deep, nuanced historical look at the development of the COVID vaccine. A great antidote to the politicized noise that we have to listen to on a daily basis.

Lots of anti backers giving bad reviews. I doubt they’ve actually listened to a full episode. Good podcast!

I just feel like I get a peak into what has been happening with vaccines over time and for Covid 19! So glad this podcast was made! Listen!!!!!!

This is a fascinating podcast so far (episodes 1-3). It’s a great history lesson of science told in laymen’s terms. I have enjoyed listening to the history of inoculation and especially the story of Maurice Hilleman. Wow, what a contribution to humanity! So many children have lived to become...Read full review »

Let's not forget to mention The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System and the $4 billion that's been paid out with tax payer dollars to those who've sustained injury or death from those products you claim to be "safe and effective." What is Pfizer themselves recording this?Read full review »

So good! Some things I did know but I just learned so much more. The swearing are just words gee wiz keep it up love love it!

With fascinating medical history, not sure why even mild swearing is needed? The swearing appears to be scripted, which throws me off—it’s not like it’s needed for emphasis. Love the concept of this podcast, though; it has some interesting information.

Super interesting.

So funny listening to them talk about how safe and effective it is when I know tons of people who have gotten covid, & are extremely ill from it, AFTER getting the vaccine. Now we are talking boosters when we were told a month ago it wouldn’t be necessary. Oh, let’s not forget the thousands...Read full review »

Nobody wants to listen to your state paid vaccine propaganda. Straight garbage.
junkieMMAman via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/11/21
The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is I expected, with the history of inoculation & vaccines, you’d mentioned the enslaved man in Massachusetts named Onesimus. Onesimus is a key person in the story of inoculation in the US and I expect to hear about him in a future episode.
