“After 4 episodes, I'm really enjoying Aaron Mahnke's podcast LORE. It's a mixture of storytelling and history, all about a central theme (vampires, werewolves, etc.). So far, my favorite episode by a long shot has been #2, "The Bloody Pit." That one haunts me. He really hit a sweet spot in that story for me. I don't know if it's because I've become numb to vampire and werewolf and ghost stories and this was something different, or because it was based on true events, or what, but it freaked me out. Keep up the good work, maybe add a guest every now and then, make them longer, and then it gets 5 starts. Since I don't want to leave this review on a down note, I do want to say I hope to check out his scary stories sometime!”Read full review »
