“There were several interesting things about this podcast that attracted me to it. There is the general true crime part. But there is also the legal discussion. It appears to me that the storyteller took it upon herself to once again convict a man in the eyes of the general public while completely ignoring the evidence, or lack thereof. Also, it does strike me odd that she seems to have misled the daughters of Fred Roehler that she was trying to offer some sort of assistance. The very last episode was the worst in terms of hanging a man for a crime that he may or may not have committed. This is just about as bad as the gossip mill that might have gotten Fred Roehler convicted in the first place.
Another interesting aspect that I must talk about is that the narrator and storyteller also considers herself to be an expert on psychology. Apparently now she can also tell when people are lying or telling the truth! This is exactly how innocent people end up in jail for a very long time, and lives are destroyed forever.”
