Mirrors what is happening to Apple
Part of the difficulty is that its name indicates the show is largely about the Macintosh, yet around 50% of the content seems to be about other products and issues: the iPhone (like we need yet more coverage of that), iPods and so forth. It's funny, chatty, and often entertaining, but the content seems to keep getting thinner. Just as Apple is obviously stretched to extend over its increasingly wide-ranging products, so is MacbBreak stretched. The show needs to spend about 50 minutes on the Mac, and 10 minutes of other issues. The second issue, which feeds into this, is that the show focuses on pure news. It should instead go a little bit more vertical. It needs better, comparative reviews of software, not just "I like such and such".Read full review »

used to be worthwhile, now worthless. I'll reinforce the complaints others have had, this used to be a good show but now it's inane drivel. Very little value in Apple news or topics, whether it's the iphone or Mac platforms. It's really too bad. These guys are pros, sound good...Read full review »
