Every August, U.S. Breastfeeding Committee marks this as National Breastfeeding Month. Specifically, in the last week of August, black mothers celebrate Black Breastfeeding Week. The fact that racial disparity in initiation and even bigger one for duration has lingered for so long is reason enough to take 7 days to focus on the issue. We will dive into these factors with our guest Momologist, LaQuita Brazile.
