After 3 months since my discovery I can say... Addictive
It's been almost 25 years since that first trip to that cyber café where I learned with amazement what the Internet was for the first time and I can say, without a doubt, that I never felt the urge of exploring the whole vault of episodes of a podcast until I found Make It Stop. I had so much fun with the first ones I picked that I had to tell them via direct message in social media: "I discovered your podcast by chance less than a month ago and I can't be more grateful, I have a lot of episodes to devour yet but I'm already at the level of a merchandising-buying-fan guys. You've been like welcoming friends during this weird summeryour chemistry, sense of humor and wit result in something that makes the listener feel happily included. Greetings from a corner in Barcelona and THANK YOU. I'm kind of embarrassed for writing what seems like a silly piece of fanmail but I feel I just have to". I can't rewrite it better or with more spontaneous love for what they do. It doesn't matter if they discuss an album that you know well or that you've never heard of, there's always stuff to learn and of course to laugh about, and their guests are always in tune with their good vibes. Plus, it's not just silly commentary, don't be fooled, there's a good balance between research, mockery and music journalism on the spot. I never want you to stop, guys.Read full review »

Some days you just really need to hate laugh and this podcast brings it to you in spades! The music may be bad, but Heather and Mike are so funny that you can’t help but stay for more punishment. Do yourself a favor and turn off the world for an hour and a half and turn on this podcast- you won’t...Read full review »

This podcast is neither funny nor adds anything of substance to the discussion of music. The entire episode was complaining about the same points over and over with the hosts, specifically Heather (I think), just talking over the other host and guest; if you’re going to invite a guest on, at...Read full review »
