Brandon has a great interviewing style in such a way that he allows the podcast to be conversational rather than hurried small talk. He explored topics and allows the dialogue to occur organically which I appreciate not only as an interviewee but as a new listener. At no time did I feel like his...Read full review »

My man! Good job with the guests but just relax and talk to them. Be relatable ask them follow up questions about what they are discussing not what’s on your paper sheet. Let it come from the heart and follow your gut. Let them tell their bio and pull pieces of it. You’re doing good. Just turn...Read full review »

Ok listen. I like the subject and structure of your interviews. I think you are great at asking/coming up with questions that continue the conversation. The issue I had was your responses to answers. A lot of the time you would respond with “ok”, “cool”, “wow” etc. I would recommend instead of...Read full review »

I suggest learning a broader vocabulary other than “crazy”, “wild” etc. Your questions are very hollow and unengaged. Seems like you really have no idea who your interviewing other than basics attained from 5 minutes of reading about the topic.

I would like this podcast a lot more if the folks being interviewed weren’t constantly interrupted with a stream of “ok... yeah yeah...ok... ok....” It makes it sound like the interviewer is disinterested in what they’re saying.

Just listened to the interview with Jonathan Katz-Moses. Fascinating guy — your interview style really worked with him. You just guided him and he told some great stories. I’ve been using his dovetail jig for about a year and it’s great to hear about how he came to invent the product.

Outstanding interview style and ouline as the story is setup by Brandon and leads right into the discussion. I don't know if this is what he was going for, but its very NPR(ish), and thats a good thing. Keep up the good work.Read full review »

It's hard to be unique in the sphere of "Maker Podcasts", but this one does a great job of it. It's a unique format that is well produced and hosted.Read full review »

The content was great but it just hurts to hear, “like when you like started like...”

It’s only two interviews in, but so far I’m really enjoying it! The interviews are very conversational and enjoyable, plus Brandon does a great job of leading the conversation and getting more of the story from folks. Not just the same stuff you’ve heard if you’ve heard them on other podcasts.
