Like sitting at the Cool Kids Table
There's no better way for a 'Maker' / 'Maker - Wannabe' / 'Shop-Guy-Girl' to spend time listening to something, especially on a long drive or commute. I may be the only listener like this, but I am for the most part non-social except in environments where the conversations revolve around 'shop stuff', so being able to listen in on what The Cool Kids are talking about is really nice. I had the opportunity to meet Jimmy Diresta at a meet & greet in Zanesville and really appreciated his 'genuine-ness'. I was sitting at table shooting the breeze with some folks and someone said, 'Hey, mind if we join you guys?' - it was Jimmy Diresta AND MrPete222. I'd first come across him on TV when living in China watching re-runs of Dirty Money and Trash2Cash, then found on Youtube after moving back to the US. Genuinely a 'Nice Guy' that gets right to the point. Please keep up the good work. My only suggestion is to repeat the channel names of the folks you're watching a few times, as I almost never read the show notes, and by the time I get out of the car and on to the next thing I forget the names of channels mentioned. Thanks again for the three of you letting me vicariosly 'Sit at the Cool Kids Table'. Would definitely like to meet Bob & David too.Read full review »

I've really enjoyed the banter between hosts, experience shared, and focus from a broader maker perspective. The format flows well and the insightful conversation has been both informative and entertaining. Keep up the great work guys.Read full review »
