“I loved this series from top to bottom. The host, a Black woman who grew up adoring Oprah, deftly plumbs the story of Oprah's rise, and it's so, so good. Intercuts of audio from many years of the show lend a cozy, authentic, and often appropriately cheesy atmosphere. Like listening to an episode, without too much of the feel-good mythology.
