“The interviewees (aside from nominees themselves) appear to be less and less relevant. Maybe this is an attempt to appeal to a less literary listener? Not sure but enjoying this season less than others. Would also love to hear some controversy. As this is the official booker podcast it’s all very positive but seems to ignore the criticism on the choices and politics behind. Would be really interesting to hear that explored - is. Lanny’s omission from the longlist.”
