Running out of material?
The interviewees (aside from nominees themselves) appear to be less and less relevant. Maybe this is an attempt to appeal to a less literary listener? Not sure but enjoying this season less than others. Would also love to hear some controversy. As this is the official booker podcast it’s all very positive but seems to ignore the criticism on the choices and politics behind. Would be really interesting to hear that explored - is. Lanny’s omission from the longlist.

I have LOVED everything about the Booker Prize from the judging process to trying to read through the Longlist and guess the winner. This is a podcast created for Uber book nerd. And it is wonderful.

Am really enjoying this podcast and the varied approach to the topic of Booker. Presenters are articulate and share a good amount of opinion without being overly opinionated. Love learning about Booker books past and nearly present. My TBR pile has grown on the back of how these two presenters summarise and then discuss each book. Funny, warm and engaging. Keep up the the good work.
