“I am a Japanese native learning English and Chinese.
I have listened to a lot of “learning Chinese” podcast and this is the best!! Not only good to learn languages, but also interesting to learn the culture.
The style of explaining one’s speaking in the other’s languages (Chinese⇄English) helps me a lot to understand. Just that, as episodes proceeds, interpretation becomes less and less and Tom also speaks Chinese a lot.
Recently style has changed. Less chatting and more studying material like. I don’t know if I like it or not yet.”

“Perfect podcast for Chinese listening practice, as you can easily grasp the conversations through the use of English. I keep a note book handy as they often explain dialogue and words so it really helps you pick up new vocabulary.”
