Phil & Jake rule
This podcast offers the feeling of intellectual intensity and high stakes you get from the better treatments of contemporary politics while somehow being a relief and vacation from contemporary politics, an example of the other much better things you can turn your mind to. To ease the bereft feeling I get from having greedily consumed the latest episode and knowing it’s another month until the next one - I confess - I often listen to it a second time, or dig back into the archives, as it were, and re-listen to an old one. This podcast got me (belatedly) into podcasts, but alas it's also the best I've found by far. The rest of the medium it introduced me to it also rendered a letdown.Read full review »
