I love true crime stories & the authentic telling of them.
This is not that. The dramatizations & niece Dorothy is distracting. Is Dorothy real or an actor? Either way she’s over acting &/or reading her very colorful commentary off a script. Not sure I can see this one through.

I love true crime and I really wanted to like this podcast. I’m still curious about the story, but the voice acting/re-creation part of the story was just unbearable to listen to. This is a fine true-crime podcast EXCEPT for the overwhelming number of advertisements that disrupt the narrative. I listen to many podcasts with ads—but seem to be so many more than in other series.
