Great pod and an amazing legacy of running content
I was drawn to Marathon Talk some 10 years ago when training for my first marathon. As a new runner at the time it was incredibly welcoming, unpretentious and accompanied me on many solo long runs. Since then I’ve dipped in and out when I’ve wanted to reconnect to what it was like to be a new runner starting out. The pod of course does cater for runners of all abilities but the emphasis for me was always about participation and celebrating everyone just getting out the door. In the last 2-3 years I’ve fallen away from listening due to the change in format and also a change in what I want to listen to. I go for podcasts now which have presenters which may mirror the running community that I recognise today and unfortunately the current format just doesn't work for me. Still, congratulations Marathon Talk for inspiring me and millions of others to get out of the door. You have left an incredible legacy of amazing interviews and whimsy for generations to come.Read full review »
