Not really Marketing... more just Digital Marketing
The podcast is great for Digital Marketing, but not really Marketing as a whole. They talk only really about SEO, Organic, Paid, SEM but nothing on pricing, or position and customer value or brand. They seem to rinse and repeat the “top 5” things just with different podcast titles... the amount of times I’ve heard “power pages” or “Pilar pages” in their podcasts lately is pretty repetitive. If you read between the lines what they do in their podcast is exactly what you should do with your content. The difference is, the content isn’t too new and it’s getting a bit dry. Additionally it ends up being a bit of a circle jerk at times where they talk about how much they spend on things or what deals they’ve converted, or what new product they are building to then market to us the audience, I.e clickflow - which is their own product but it isn’t really disclosed during the chats. I’d happily listen if there was more relevant marketing content and not just SEO - you can find that anywhere.

I am so glad I found this! I am a member of Neil's marketing online class, but this is even more up to date info. I would love to learn about marketing ideas for product based businesses instead of blogs. Or perhaps, why we need to link up a blog to a product based business. Thanks!!!Read full review »
