“I started using Marketplace Morning Report in my high school intro to economics course last year - and the students loved it! About 2-3 times a week I start the class with the podcast. The students sit quietly and listen, occasionally they chuckle at a pun or react to an outrageous story, and then when it's over, the real fun begins! The students are full of questions and comments, and the show spawns great conversations, debates, and most importantly, TEACHABLE MOMENTS! It helps take economic theory out of the textbook and put it into the real world!
